 The Andalusian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Research has in place different programmes geared towards the evaluation of institutional quality of Andalusian Higher Education System.
University departments, centers and services participate jointly with the AGAE work in these programs to improve the public service given by the Universities.
Nowadays, among the principal areas of work coordinated between the Andalusian Universities and the Agency, is the establishment of a procedure for post-graduate degree evaluation. During the academic years 2007/08 and 2008/09 more than 120 proposed university post-graduate degrees have been evaluated by the Agency.
